Jcg Inquiring Minds Lecture

Wednesday 2nd April 2014 Jersey College for Girls are hosting an Inquiring Minds lecture ‘Arek: How did a small boy survive the Nazi holocaust?’ with Arek Hersh.

As a member of the Holocaust Survivors Friendship Association (HSFA) Arek hopes that students and adults alike can learn from his experiences and work towards a more tolerant society in which difference and diversity are celebrated.

Arek was the subject of the award—winning documentary “Arek” (2005) produced by UNISON and directed by Tony Lloyd and it is this film that he hopes you will take the time to watch before attending his lecture.

If you would like to attend this lecture please contact Kate Le Brun (klebrun@jcg.sch.je) in order to reserve your seat, the documentary that Arek has requested his audience watch prior to the lecture is 90 minutes long and can be viewed online at www.arekmovie.com.
