As part of the Channel Islands Heritage Festival, our Vice–President, Matthew Costard, will be leading a walk around Strongpoint Plémont on Sunday, 26 April.
The clearance of the holiday camp site has opened up a number of Occupation structures that were previously inaccessible, and this walk offers a fascinating insight into their design and function.
The walk has been organised by the National Trust for Jersey. It is free only to NTJ and CIOS members, otherwise a £5 fee will apply. Please note that in order to participate you MUST book a place via the NTJ website. The walk will be strictly limited to the first 30 people who pre-register, and you cannot just turn up!
The starting point will be provided to you once your registration is confirmed and the duration will be approximately two hours. Please bring a torch, and sturdy footwear is recommended.
